sQuba-Underwater Car

A Swiss company called Rinspeed has recently announced its newest project: an underwater car. Named "sQuba," the car can both drive on roads, and then - at the push of a button - dive up to 10 meters (33 feet) under the sea.Rinspeed describes sQuba as the world's first real car to drive both on land and underwater, thanks to some cutting-edge technology. The car has a steel chassis, while its lightweight body panels are made of carbon nanotubes.

An electric motor provides rear-wheel drive while on roads. Underwater, two propellers in the stern and two jet drives in the bow propel the "amphibious" vehicle. With zero emissions, the design is even environmentally friendly, eliminating any pollution into the sea.

The two-seater also includes a self-contained on-board oxygen system to supply the driver and passenger with fresh air for breathing.Rinspeed CEO Frank Rinderknecht admits that part of the inspiration for the underwater car comes from the 1977 James Bond hit "The Spy Who Loved Me." The sQuba concept symbolizes the realization of this fantasy that once sparked his imagination."And exactly thirty years later this amazing - yet at the time animated - film sequence materializes and becomes reality, in today's world," said Rinderknecht.

The sQuba car will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show, which runs from March 6-16, 2008. However, mass-production of the car is not planned for the foreseeable future.

Shane Warne , former Australian leg spinner will play for the Jaipur team. His contract amount is 450,000 US$. He is considered as the best leg spinner of all time.He is the second highest wicket taker in the test cricket with an impressive average.





Muthiah Muralitharan , the Srilankan leg spinner and the highest wicket taker in test cricket will play for Chennai team for an amount of 600,000US$. Though his constantly being critisiced for his bowling action, he is the best spin bowler in the world right now.





Shoaib Akthar, the Pakistani fast bowler is considered as the fastest bowler in the world will play for the Kolkata team for an amount of 425,000 US$. SRK wanted him to play in his team so he bid him the highest price. His aggression in the field is well known to the cricketing world.








Adam Gilchrist is considered as the best wicket keeper batsman ever too have played in the cricket so far. This Australian player will play for Hyderabad team for an amount of 700,000US$. He currently holds the highest dimissals in test cricket and his knock of 149 in the finals of 2007 world cup had helped Australians to win the world cup.







Mahela Jayawardene is the captain of the current Srilankan team . He will play for the Mohali team for an amount of 475,000 US$.He is one of the best batsmen in the world.

Monday morning*

"Hey..let's not go in train today ok..It'll get late..We've HOD's hour first"
On the other end of the phone,"Ahh..Ok if u say so!!"
"Damn,why should it be today??"
*rushes to check on the bus driver*
"How much more time will it take??"

Turn to look at my friend..
*Searches for her and says to myself*
"I saw a friend a while ago,now all i see is a fiend"

"Sorry di",i look at her..She replies,"Nice plan di..Early to college"
I give her a sheepish grin and mutter,"Tough luck!!"

*One day B4 the univ xams*

"Hey,i know da, It's safe to omit half of all the units.Afterall,we get either-or questions!"
On the other end of the phone,"Ahh..Ok if u say so!!"

*In the exam hall*

Feeling uneasy on seeing the question paper..Bend my head a lil to look at my friend,
Yeah,you're right..I see a fiend..
I manage to give her an uneasy smile,and a "All the best!!"
After the exams are over,i run upto her and ask,"How was the paper??"
*No answer*
"Tough luck!!"

*B4 an Interview*

"Hey,don't worry da..Just speak the truth and look at the hr person's eyes when you speak"
He looks at me,and sighs,"Since you're telling"


I look at him from a distance.The hr person hands over a paper to him.
*tick tock..tick tock*
He hands over the paper.The hr person asks him to leave.

"Hey,what happened??"
He answers,"She told me to write an essay about me!!
I wrote the truth.After reading it,she told me to leave"
"Oops..tough luck!!",I manage to give him a smile and move away uneasily.

What is it with me and luck??
Lady luck never seems to smile on me!!
Whenever I try to do something good for the people I love,it ends up in a disaster!!

I tell them all I feel about my luck.She turns mad and a hard hit on my back.

Sania says no to Bangalore

Sania Mirza , the tennis sensation in India, has decided not to play in Bangalore Open. Sania is the top ranked Indian tennis player. She is currently world no 29. She didn’t had much success last year. Sania is always targeted by many people for her dress ,attitude and her behavior. Of late she has been on the news for lot of wrong reasons . Last year there was a strong protest against her filming for an ad in Jumma Masjid in Hyderabad . After which she apologized to the concerned persons. At the beginning of this year she is been haunted by another controversy this time in Australia. While playing in Australian open she was found to have insulted Indian national flag . She was found to sitting in such a position were her feet touches Indian national flag. This sparked strong protest against her.

Because of these events she was very depressed and decided not to play in Bangalore Open to avoid more controversies . She confirmed this officially . She said in a press interview that her agent has asked her not play in this tournament . This agency which takes care of her professional life is incidentally belongs to Mahesh Bhupathi.

Her withdrawal from the Open has again lead to many diverse reactions from the critics . Many feel that it is wrong on Sanias part to decide like this.

Even if she plays or not she is always a source of news for many people………….

Harbajjan Singh of India and Andrew Symmonds of Australia going to share screen for an advertisement!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wondering whether i have gone mad , wait it may become true . Because a chewing gum company has approached both Bajji and Symmonds to share screen for their company advertisement. Talks are going on both sides still officially there is no conformation either from the company or from the players.The theme of the ad is "GUM HAI THO DUM HAI".
Hmmm whatever it be it will be good to see them both on a single screen what you say......................
