Virendra Sehwag fondly called as 'Viru' or 'Nawab of Delhi' is now facing the all time low point of his career. Though he has got some good records on the field , his main drawback is the lack of consistency in showing his skill. Being the the only Indian to score a trible hundred in a single innings in international test cricket , still he is not been included in the last few series which India played. But now he is been included in the Indian squad for the series against Australia. This inclusion has brought smile in the faces of many of his fans .But recent incidents show that he may not be actually included in the playing eleven against Australia in the test matches. In a recent press conference Rahul Dravid said that he is ready to open the innings for Indai if it is needed. This has sparked the controversy whether Sehwag will be included in the final eleven for test because considering the form of other players in the recently concluded series against Pakistan it is really difficult to place Viru in the batting slot.
If we assume that India will go with six batsmen then the probable batting order will like this
- Wasim Jaffer/Virendra Sehwag
- Rahul Dravid
- VVS Laxman
- Sourav Ganguly
- Sachin Tendulkar
- Yuvaraj Singh/Virendra Shewag
Do you think this is the End of Sehwag?
Do you think he has to be given a fair chance by giving him chance to play in all the four tests against Australia?
