Is Alcohol Ban Justified?

There have been many deaths in Gujarat due to illegal liquor trafficking. This is because the Gujarat government has banned liquor sale in any form. This is actually a welcome step but there are many people who have got addicted to this ill fated habit. What the government has to do is to first introduce programmes about the problem faced due to drinking. Though there are many programmed in the government papers there is not much action is being taken in order to execute those words in the papers.
My opinion is that Modi government has done something good in this regard. Though his government is meant to be a more biased kind of government, this is one of the best steps taken for the betterment of the society. Modi has to take more stringent steps to punish the illegal trafficking of these liquor products. New rules should be formed and introduced in order to eliminate this liquor consumption.
But to hinder these kinds of good policies of the government there are some big shots who take this as an opportunity to introduce these ill practices into the society legally. Mr. Mallaya , owner of the Kingfisher, is taking a dig at the government and also trying to make the alcohol distribution legal. This must be strongly condemned by all section of the society irrespective of whether they like the Gujarat government or not. We must not encourage a society where alcohol is distributed freely. This must be dealt seriously and steps like alcohol banning should be supported with full heart.
Only strong steps like this can make our society a better one in the future where the elements of the society are free from alcohol consumption.
