So Beijing Olympics 2008 has begun in a grand style. Yesterday was the inauguration of the Beijing Olympics and the Olympic torch was lit which will be extinguished on the last day of this sports carnival. Over two hundred counties are taking part in this games and China has the largest contingent in this Olympics. India has send 56 member sports squad for the Olympics though it is small compared to last year because Indian hockey team failed to qualify for the Olympics. The Indian contingent was lead by Rajvardhan Singh Rathore, the only silver medalist from India in the double trap event. There some hopes for India in tennis, shooting and boxing. The opening ceremony was so grand that experts said it is the best opening ceremony in the Olympics history.
